Job description
A logistics company is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate. In this seat you will be responsible for high volume AP/AR processing. Additionally this position will involve some foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate has experience using an ERP and has performed high volume AP and AR processing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including the processing of invoices and payments
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Manage cash flow and forecasting
- Assist with monthend and yearend close processes
- Work with tax providers on tax related reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 2 5 years of relevant accounting experience in private equity or similar
- Experience using an ERP
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
