Join our team in Sandy Springs, GA at the beautiful Somerby Sandy Springs community. This is a
PRN Occupational Therapist position.
Schedule is Monday - Friday.
No evenings, weekends, or holidays .

The details: - Somerby Sandy Springs has a rehabilitation department that includes a beautiful therapy gym space and access to fitness equipment and private treatment rooms provides the optimal atmosphere for our treatment model for therapy services which includes 1:1 patient care.
- The beautiful campus includes three living options for seniors: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
- Patient care schedule is Monday - Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Candidates must be driven to excite the community and educate residents on rehabilitation services.

The requirements: - Degree from a CAOTE accredited school
- Current state licensure or eligibility in discipline
- Has minimum of two (2) years geriatric outpatient clinical experience
- Experience in Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Neuro Programming
- Experience with aquatics, balance/vestibular, and neuro
- LSVT BIG Certification a plus
- Displays flexibility and strong time management and communication skills
- Demonstrates confidence, initiative, and creativity to build caseload within a community
- Proficient with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain
The clinical responsibilities: - Deliver One on One quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients.
- Document progress toward identified objectives.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload within EMR.
- Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication.
- Conduct patient and family education.
