Fire Protection Service Corporation is now hiring for a full-time collections representative

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound/outbound collection phone calls, asking for payment in full on every call or negotiating payment plans
• Write letters or uses approved form letters in collection attempts
• Respond to correspondence received
• Logging all client contact in current accounting programs
• Utilizes actions/incidents/note or current system
• Receive and process payments as determined by collections manager
• Maintain positive attitude toward debtor(s)
• Filing invoice statements, run errands, adhere to code of conduct, confidentiality agreement & company safety policy

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in highly structured environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Goal oriented professional with strong work ethic
• Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable sin standardized situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must read and speak English
• Professional mannerism and phone voice
• 6+ months related experience and or training

Education & Certification:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Utah DOPL Burglar Alarm Company Agent License or ability to obtain one
• Notary Public or ability to obtain one
