Job description

Cisilion is an award-winning global systems integrator and managed service provider, working with clients in over 70 countries across five continents. We hold Gold Partner status with leading technology vendors including Cisco, Microsoft, and Dell Technologies.

We currently have the opportunity for a Head of Marketing on a Fixed Term Contract (Salaried) for a 6 month maternity cover. Ideally the you will come from a relevant industry background (VAR, MSP, IT Systems Integrator). This is a key leadership role that drives strategic transformation and delivers on ambitious growth objectives. You will work in a multi-faceted role leading all aspects of marketing and communication activity. You will champion exceptional management skills to ensure marketing team objectives and key projects are delivered on time driving revenue and growth.

To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable working within an entrepreneurial team. You will need to lead by influence and demonstrate credibility, gravitas, and knowledge to lead and inspire the marketing team and work alongside senior business leaders to drive strategic business projects.

You will be directly supporting our CMO, Sales Director and Sales Leaders and the Cisilion Leadership Team to drive growth through customer acquisition and retention through an aggressive, creative and bold marketing campaign and brand strategy. Strong communication and personal skills combined with an analytical and creative approach and out of the box thinking are required along with a passion for working in a fast-paced and ambitious business.

Key to this role will be the successful management and driving the team to continue to innovate and go beyond expectations.

Candidate Profile

· A cultivator of talent, the successful candidate must have exceptional management skills to drive and motivate a young marketing team.

· Energetic, passionate, personable, and keen networker, who must be commercially minded and a sales driven revenue marketer.

· Highly strategic yet hands-on, able to balance long term strategy with short term results.

Track record of attracting and retaining top talent, motivating the team, delegating effectively as appropriate, and managing performance

· Exceptional leadership and communication skills; an inspiring leader that can scale and manage a high-impact team and influence and inspire at senior leadership level.

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills – must have the ability to analyse and derive meaning from data which you will then translate into actionable changes.

· Passionate about marketing & technology – able to dive in and use innovative, next generation platforms and tactics to tell our story.

· Excellent written and verbal communications and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

· NetSuite / CRM / HubSpot experience on system integration to deliver full lead lifecycle reporting.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required (6 Years+ minimum).

Key Tasks

Main Responsibilities:

· Team Performance: Lead and develop team of ambitious marketers to reach their full potential and hit ambitious personal and team growth targets.

· Leadership Communication and Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly updates to Cisilion Leadership on team performance, campaign activity, and KPIs / target goals.

· Marketing Operations: Lead, optimise and drive marketing operations, focussing on leveraging all marketing tools, Data, GDPR compliance, and system integration to support end-to-end lead tracking and ROI reporting.

· Lead Generation: Drive campaign executive to deliver creative and ambitious multi-touch digital campaign inbound and outbound strategy across email, social, digital, events, brand, PR, content, website, SEO, PPC, and advertising that delivers an exceptional user experience to drive lead generation and conversion.

· Lead Conversion & Sales Partnership: Support Sales Director and Sales Leaders to ensure efficient lead follow up processes by the sales teams and drive visibility and tracking on lead activity and reporting to drive maximum conversion.

· Content: Drive team to create library of content that drives pipeline and accelerates deals with client case studies and creative storytelling at the heart of the approach.

· Department KPIs: Hold responsibility for creating and reaching ambitious marketing team KPIs and objectives. Report on a monthly and quarterly basis on achievements and areas of improvement / focus.

· Overall Budget Management: Across team head count and marketing platform costs driving full value and ROI on all marketing investments. Responsible for execution and claims for vendor funding.
