The Regional IT Support Technician participates in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of IT and technology systems across our restaurants in North America. The Regional IT Support Technician supports our field users to increase their knowledge, usage, and satisfaction with these systems. This position requires a high level of independent judgment and decision making, reports to the Director of IT Supportand will require travel approximately 75% of the time.
- This position is based in MDW airport andpays $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
Essential Functions
- Balance multiple independent projects simultaneously, across multiple environments
- Provide support and training to end users relating to IT and Technology issues
- Assist Project Managers with product development, testing, implementation, and support
- Assist Project Managers with budgets, forecasts, implementation plans, training, and schedules for project implementations
- Adhere to project plans and update progress accordingly
- Knowledge of cost benefit analysis and risk assessment and mitigation
- Communicate with stakeholders as appropriate
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Experience working in restaurants, preferably at supervisory levels
- Experience working with network infrastructure
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Strong observational skills
- Experience working with Restaurant POS systems, MICROS preferred
- Experience providing computer or other technology related help desk support
- Experience using with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and One Drive
- To comprehend and use business math relating to budgets, forecasts, and expenses
- Dynamic and positive attitude to support our culture and work environment and foster positive working relationships with others in the organization
