Targeted compensation: $48,000 - $50,000 + bonus

What is the role and where can you add value? 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our Service Team. In this role, the Account Manager I is the liaison between contractors and 2-10 HBW. Assists contractors in developing contractor accounts to initiate and maintain a favorable relationship. Responsible for the training, development and support of the contractor accounts and overall network. The Account Manager I must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding and performance for all Core Job Responsibilities listed below.
Core Job Responsibilities: - The Account Manager I will travel to given markets and assist new and/or existing contractors through quality, onsite business reviews, training, and enrollment negotiations with prospective contractors
- Coaching and holding contractors accountable in order to maximize favorable performance metrics. This will be the primary means by which this role will contribute to the overall cost control and service management for 2-10 HBW
- Completes assigned projects within the department to improve network service, contractor coverage and cost control measures with diligence and execution through to completion
- Provides training and instruction to contractors to ensure that they operate within company guide lines and utilize available resources
- Works with the department analysts and Account Management leadership to implement strategic initiatives to improve cost effective and service related performance of the national contractor network
- Conducts monthly business review calls with assigned contractors with the goal of holding contractors accountable to performance goals
- Negotiates and implements favorable pricing structures in proper ratios across all mechanical residential trades with new & existing contractor accounts
- Trains and assists contractors with the use of the Contractor Web Portals and Mobile applications to enable the contractors to self-serve the claims process consistently with minimal 2-10 HBW involvement, improving the overall self-service of the contractor network to meet established goals
- Ensures network contractors are trained on the proper 2-10 HBW procedures with regards to claims processes, service standards and contractor expense management
- Resolves escalated claims as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience should you bring to this role? - High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Negotiation skills and the ability to process complex challenges effectively
- Intermediate + Computer Skills and familiarity with MS Office suite
