Concierges are to serve the needs of residents, visitors, and team members by offering information and assistance in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
**Schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm

Some of the main responsibilities:
- Greet all residents and visitors at community in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner. Maintain a neat personal appearance and dress appropriately in accordance with the department policy for this position.
- Coordinate and maintain all required daily reports and log all incidents and activities that take place during the shift.
- Monitor and respond to all emergency security systems and prepare Unusual Occurrence Reports when applicable.
- Coordinate as needed to schedule transportation to doctor, dentist, and business appointments for residents and inform Transportation when valet parking is needed.
- Dispatch messages to appropriate party for efficient communication to meet residents' needs.
- Follow protocols in place for the following Customer Services Desk services as needed: guest room reservations; accept and deliver packages, prescriptions, flowers etc., operate multiple-line telephone, record resident's change of status.
- Record all irregularities or needed repairs observed or reported during the shift. Submit work order using maintenance software system if necessary.
- Assist other departments with copying, sorting, etc., as needed and as time allows.
- Work agreed-upon schedule with minimal absences in accordance with the attendance policy and perform routine tasks without close supervision.
- Put team success ahead of individual interests; contribute to teamwork by demonstrating a "will-do" attitude and by working cooperatively with others, including other departments. (Teamwork)

- Be friendly and helpful with residents and keep a positive spirit and a well-groomed personal appearance in representing the community.

- Know the community emergency procedures and respond to emergency drills.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
