At Walt Disney World, we build memories, and as Senior Manager, Franchise Strategy, you will be leading the development and execution of commercial franchise strategies and initiatives, through product and content integration, encouraging millions of Guests to experience our Parks and Resorts. You would lead the development of our site's long term franchise product plans and pivotal initiatives delivering business, Cast, and Guest growth goals using business analytics, as well as consumer and industry insights and trends.

Every single day is energizing as the Senior Manager, Franchise Strategy. On any given day you may:
Lead a dynamic and forward-thinking team responsible for driving franchise product innovation and prioritizing multifaceted, often cross-property activations with various key partners including Park Operations, Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney’s Live Entertainment, Food & Beverage / Merchandise Lines Of Business, Marketing Strategy, and Finance.
Develop Site-wide franchise and character experience roadmaps based on site audience priorities and associated strategic franchise data and consumer insights, as well as The Walt Disney Company priorities and content slate.
Elevate new, incremental business opportunities related to prioritized franchises and company content across lines of business, by analyzing internal and external trends, performing comprehensive market assessments to evaluate competitive positioning, and articulate value drivers.
Collaborate across the entire Commercial Strategy organization, including Product Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Customer Experience, and Pricing, as well as key franchise partners across the company, ensuring comprehensive, vetted recommendations.
Provide franchise input for Walt Disney World Guest experience investments growing future audience relevancy and addressing consumer needs supporting Disney differentiation and long-term business goals.
Lead conceptualization sessions and recurring forums, working closely with cross-functional partners, and building a sophisticated and compelling case to gain support from cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
Perfectly deliver franchise initiative go-to-market / launch plans through successful project management and cross-discipline collaboration.
Participate in large cross-functional forums as a catalyst for change and champion for franchise strategy alignment contributing inputs and providing solution-oriented opportunities to further bolster short- and long-term initiatives supporting planned Site growth.
At least eight plus years of proven experience in business development, brand management, finance, marketing, innovation, strategy, or franchise management/Strategy
At least five plus years in a leadership role with direct reports and managing projects with teams
Proven financial and analytical competence with the ability to lead sophisticated work within a matrix organization producing long-term strategies and delivering profitable initiatives
Experience developing cohesive, succinct and actionable strategies using disparate and sophisticated consumer-led insights from cross-functional sources
Proven track record managing a large volume of sophisticated work, effectively and efficiently, prioritizing continually to ensure business results are achieved
A creative, entrepreneurial spirit with business development and product strategy experience
High emotional intelligence with a shown ability to build positive relationships, secure agreements and deliver results across various teams
A gift for translating sophisticated problems into elegant solutions, articulating compelling stories
Ability to deliver presentations with poise, confidence and authentic style to senior executive leaders
Have an eye for business working with Profit & Loss, annual operating plans, and interpreting & communicating data
Deep expertise in consumer products, theme parks, and/or resorts industries
Outstanding understanding of The Walt Disney Company franchises and business
Proven leadership capabilities within a matrix organization, especially with the ability to large teams and integrated partners
An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to drive effective risk-taking and big innovative thinking
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other quantitative field or equivalent.
