Armed Operative/Security Guard - Manhattan, NY!

Base hourly rate: $33.50 and Supplemental Benefit: $7.60 per hour up to 40 hours per week

Position Summary

The Armed Operative/Security Guard is responsible for performing licensed security guarding duties with professionalism and tact to ensure the safety and security at our valued client location. This is an outstanding opportunity, offering key client exposure and tremendous growth potential within the security space.

As a key member of the Arrow team and essential resource to our client, the Armed Operative will ensure all guests, visitors and client property are monitored and addressed according to the client's requirements. Our Armed Operatives are highly perceptive at identifying potential threats within assigned areas and prompt in communicating events to Site Supervisor/ Manager on duty. Compensation Package

In addition to the hourly salary outlined above, we offer a lucrative compensation package in recognition of our talent. Our total compensation offering is comprised of the following a dditional Union Benefits:

• Union-sponsored Health Fund: Officers have the option of enrolling into or opting-out of (as defined in CBA) into a union-sponsored Health Fund. If Officer chooses to opt-out the supplemental benefit is paid directly to your retirement account (32BJ requirement)
• Vacation entitlement after 6 months of employment
• 8 paid holidays and one personal day after 12 months of continuous employment

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Multiple Schedules Available
• Provides onsite watch/protection of assigned post and designated perimeter
• Observes, reports and supports client expectations
• Reports all breaches per applicable methods
• Utilizes company scheduling platform for clock-ins/clock-outs of scheduled shift
• Evaluates and responds to alerts in surrounding area with professionalism and according to company protocol
• Alerts Supervisor on Duty when situation requires escalation per company protocol
• Assists fellow security guards with de-escalation when applicable per company protocol
• Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Works with diligence and respect to ensure the safety and security of assigned client, visitors and property
• Adheres to all Company service and operating standards
• Additional tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid NYS Armed Security Guard License
• Law Enforcement Background
• Valid NYC Concealed Carry Permit and Valid HR-218 Permit
• Good Guy Letter
• Exceptional work ethic
