Job Summary:
The Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for TWDC, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally, and also licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming, and consumer products.
This role will aid in the preparation, distribution and archival of audio, graphic, and video content for DMG International.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to territories (Japan, Korea, China, India, SEA, EMEA, LATAM, APAC, CA) to ensure proper release/complete archival of international assets
- Coordinate requests for approval and localization of Graphic/Audio assets among internal departments for distribution purposes
- Maintain DMG metadata systems and schedules as related to international Production
- Ensure compliance of improved international Production and Asset Management policies and procedures
- Assist in processing and releasing international Video Content as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years working with metadata, preferably in the entertainment field
- 1-2 years of experience in production, preferably in music
- General knowledge of asset database management a plus
- Energetic, efficient, excellent time-management skills; this is a FAST-PACED, continually evolving environment
- Attention to detail, problem solving, and high level of accuracy is critical
- Highly intelligent and adaptable; quick learner
- Strong work ethic
- Good interpersonal skills: very customer and service focused
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced skill with MAC/Parallels, Excel, Word.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written
- Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
- Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
The hiring range for this position in California is $56,000 to $64,130 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
