Job description

This position s erves as Physician Assistant. It is located within the Director of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Service at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Eisenhower in Augusta, Georgia. 

This is a full-time Physician Assistant (Family Practice) position at Fort Gordon, Augusta Georgia that affords job security, a competitive salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, up to 26 days paid vacation, 10 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, 401K, CME opportunities, an active GME program in primary care and surgical specialties and a first-class health and retirement benefit package.

As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as:

 

US Citizenship Required

 

At least one year of experience as a certified physician assistant treating patients in a Family Practice setting.

 

Graduation from a physician assistant educational program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA), or its predecessors, at a college, university, or educational institution that is accredited by an accrediting body or organization recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education.

 

Successful completion of the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for continuing medical education (CME) and re-certification.

 

All Applicants must be licensed as a Physician Assistant by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
