Mountain Alarm is hiring a Accounts Payable Specialist in our Ogden, Utah location.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable (AP) specialist under general supervision, receives and reviews invoices from vendors, matches documents, performs coding and data entry. May perform other basic clerical duties associated with accounts payable and assist with phones as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use Concur to manage all credit card expense reports and receipts
• Follow up with each credit card user for missing receipts and expense reports
• Work with office managers to coordinate new users within Concur and provide training as needed
• Responsible for the review, coding and data entry of all company expenses into the appropriate accounting programs.
• Ensures proper account coding and coordinates timely approvals, and timely payments of all invoices.
• Uses administrative skills to perform tasks in company software; SedonaOffice, Office365, Outlook, OneNote, and various other Microsoft Office products.
• Uses administrative and accounting skills to pay invoices through multiple methods and vendor systems (Online, ACH, physicals checks, etc).
• Provides feedback to management regarding AP breakdowns or concerns.
• Professionally administers all incoming calls, redirects accordingly, and transfers to voicemail if unavailable.
• Performs filing; electronic or paper.
• Types and designs general correspondences, memos, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Required Skills :

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1-2 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Clear communication skills (email, phone, in-person) among internal departments and vendors
• Maintains a good working environment with all employees, vendors, and customers
