Job description

University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks a Pediatric Radiologist to work in Allegheny County; Lycoming County; Lawrence County; Mercer County; Bedford County; Erie County; Blair County; Venango County, Pennsylvania who will diagnose and treat childhood illnesses and injuries by utilizing advanced imaging equipment; assess a young patient’s medical history, review test results, and address concerns and questions that patients and their parents may have; work with technicians to prep patients for X-ray machines and other imaging devices such as ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy, conduct tests, interpret the results, make a diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan; participate in the teaching of residents, medical students, and fellows.

Job Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses and injuries by utilizing advanced imaging equipment.
• Assess a young patient’s medical history, review test results, and address concerns and questions that patients and their parents may have.
• Work with technicians to prep patients for X-ray machines and other imaging devices such as ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy, conduct tests, interpret the results, make a diagnosis.
• Develop a treatment plan;
• Participate in the teaching of residents, medical students, and fellows.
