Summary

We are building a groundbreaking electric vehicle which needs to be connected to a robust cloud infrastructure. This is an opportunity to build something new and impactful. You will work with the veteran product leaders to engineer a worldclass backend that enables disruptive vehicle features and ownership features. Be a leader as we disrupt and changes the transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical architecture for our cloud application in AWS/GCP Serverless Terraform Jenkins
  

• Participate in the software engineering work from conception planning and product design through execution and integration
  

• Be an active part of the team. Step in to solve the hardest problems code architecture communication
  

• Create innovative solutions to meet our product requirements
  

• Support vehicle and ecosystem launch activities
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
  

• 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
  

• Proficiency with at least one of the following languages: Typescript Javascript Python
  

• Extensive experience building highly scalable reliable and maintainable services
  

• Experience with Cloud Native platforms including Serverless Framework Lambda Hashicorp Vault AWS CLI Docker Kubernetes
  

• Experience with implementing serverless and containerized code best practices
  

• Strong understanding of AWS services offerings: EKS EC2 ECS/Fargate Lambda RDS Elasticache Cloudfront IAM WAF S3 Glacier IoT Core CloudTrail CloudWatch KMSCognito
  

• Enthusiasm for achieving submillisecond gains in service response time
  

• The qualityfirst mindset with a focus on test automation and CI/CD
  

• Great communication collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic
  

• The ability to jump into a project and contribute immediately to architecture
  

• Understanding of PCIDSS CCPA and GDPR compliance

1 Qualifications Required Experience: 3+ years developing embedded software Excellent C/C++ development skills including knowledge of design patterns and data structures. Extensive Experience using Linux including application development, driver development, and/or distribution management. Experience working in a Yocto based build environment. Experience developing network connected software (tcp,udp, mqtt, etc..) Experience with JIRA, Git, and Agile Software development methodology. Has shown the ability to function independently on a day-to-day basis Excellent communication skills Preferred Skills: Automotive Experience is a plus Experience with Qt UI package is a plus Experience with Automotive Grade Linux is a plus Experience developing software for manufacturing test is a plus Experience with Bluetooth / Wi-Fi / Cellular modules / devices is a plus Experience with d-bus, websockets, a plus H.R.
