Job description
The Product Manager will assist the team to help achieve our mission to provide health care practitioners with best-in-class CME learning solutions. This team works in the Continuing Medical Education space and this role requires an organized, analytical, and customer-first thinker/problem solver.
The Product Manager is responsible for helping drive product vision through feature prioritization as we look to expand our market share by strengthening renewals and growing through new channels and segments. This person will help conduct customer research, analyze in-product usage, and monitor customer feedback to help ensure that we are using data-driven insight to solve customer problems. For the OnDemand team, this person will help manage the product back log and Releases/Sprints to ensure the team delivers value for the customer and achieves business outcomes.
PRODUCT MANAGER: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Become our primary voice of the customer expert by conducting primary and secondary research at both the SME and practitioner level; advocate for our customers and ensure that they are at the center of every decision we make.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and external subject matter experts such as society partners, and key opinion leaders.
Define and monitor OKR’s (Objectives & Key Results) to monitor performance and influence development needs, working closely with analytics to ensure relevant data is reported.
Understand user problems and needs by collaborating with customer support and sales, analyzing customer usage and trends, and support the product management team by conducting qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys.
Write user stories as directed by the Product Management Associate Director and provide input on prioritization for product backlog items to address user needs.
Assist in prioritizing and iterating on the strategic roadmap, guiding user story mapping and communicating customer problems to solve and jobs to be done.
Design experiments to effectively test new concepts and deliver high-value to the market quickly.
Translate reported product issues and enhancement requests into requirements for backlog prioritization.
Coordinate review and approval of requirements with cross-functional stakeholders, UI/UX, and product management lead.
Understand how products compare to competitors in terms of value proposition, content offered, price points, etc.
Overall accountability for business performance as measured by Net Promoter Score, Customer Retention, Net Sales Growth, Revenue and Gross Margin.
For OnDemand, create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI (return on investment)
Provide vision and direction to the Agile Scrum team and stakeholders during project sprints
Prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Ensure that the Agile Scrum team always has adequate, valuable stories to work on
Lead product release planning and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities

Ability to guide a research agenda aimed at continually understanding customer needs and market trends.
Familiarity with lean and agile development processes
SCRUM, Product Owner Certification
Experience in the Healthcare market
