The Ohio State University is currently seeking oncology physicians at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor rank for a variety of roles in the areas of basic and translational research, education, and inpatient and outpatient care. High priority searches at this time are those who desire to focus their research and patient care in  Breast Cancer.

Positions Open for Breast Medical Oncologists

At The Ohio State University, patients go to The Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center (SSCBC) for all of their breast cancer needs. The SSCBC was one of the first stand-alone breast cancer centers in the Midwest US and is one of the largest Breast Oncology centers in the country with 45 dedicated breast physicians (11 medical oncology, 9 breast radiologists, 7 surgical oncologists, 7 reconstructive breast surgeons, 4 radiation oncologists and 7 breast pathologists) within the SSCBC who see an average of more than 1000 new breast cancer patients per year . The SSCBC is located approximately 1 mile off the main campus and is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a diagnostic clinic, comprehensive breast imaging, a fully independent laboratory, an infusion center, and several supportive services including social work on-site, physical therapy and a Lymphedema Center of Excellence.

Currently, with 11 Breast Medical Oncologists, the OSU Breast Medical Oncology Section is one of the largest dedicated Breast Medical Oncology programs in the country and is seeking to hire 3 additional Breast Medical Oncologists. Within Breast Medical Oncology, physicians are supported by an extensive team of advanced practice providers, skilled Magnet nursing professionals, and medical scribes. There are comprehensive translational and clinical trials research programs within Breast Medical Oncology with a robust trial portfolio.
