Job description
Primary responsibility for supporting a wide variety of clinical departmental applications (ouside of the EHR) across DH System Member locations.
Performs analysis functions to assist in the selection and implementation of new systems, the revision of existing systems, and provides project management for assigned projects.
Should have experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems.
This position requires frequent on-site work at our various DH locations including Lebanon, Keene, Nashua and other DH sites.
- Supports clinical departmental applications (ouside of the EHR) across DH System Member locations.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills, with an ability to translate technical details to non-technical audiences (clinical/administrative customers)
- Ability to investigate & troubleshoot issues and determine possible courses of action for remediation.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical aspects of applications.
- Provides analysis functions in support of new or upgraded vendor, in-house computing systems and special projects.
- Participates in the development and follow-up evaluation of system design and projects.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent required.
- Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
- Project management skills, programming skills, and extensive knowledge of microcomputers desired.
