Job Description
Urbanex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level HR Generalist to join our team in Nashville, TN. This position will support various HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with employee relations activities, including investigating complaints, conducting exit interviews, and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement surveys, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees, including scheduling sessions and tracking participation.
- Assist with compliance activities, including maintaining knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of HR experience or internship experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of HR.
- Experience with iSolved HR a plus
