LEVEL SUMMARY
The Associate Marketing Specialist position works with Account Executives, Senior Editor, and other Director level positions to deliver exceptional client experiences. The Associate Specialist is responsible for leading and overseeing a portfolio of client accounts while continuing to serve in a support role for the Account Managers, Senior Editor, Account Executives and other Director level positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The MarCom Associate Marketing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of leading and managing assigned projects. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and works closely with Sr. Leadership roles. The MarCom Associate Specialist helps manage staffing of teams and projects, sharing and training of staff, and management of internal and external MarCom and client expectations.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years work experience.
Working knowledge of the following platforms: PagePro, Constant Contact, Smartsheet
Publications and client management experience highly desired.
Association and/or agency experience a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form with management, internal and external customers.
REASONING ABILITY
Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.

This position may require travel. This may include the ability to drive a car or travel on public transportation such as trains and airplanes.

Requires ability to use a computer, read a computer screen, use of a telephone and other office equipment as it relates to the work. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting to move or access materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, presentation equipment/documents and computer printouts on certain occasions.
Vision acuity: duties may require the ability to identify and discern colors accurately, to focus and see both close up and far away.
Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
