This position entails monitoring outdoor advertising devices and junkyards along the interstate and federally aided primary highway systems. It also involves reviewing and granting permit applications, as well as maintaining lease and disposition files. Collecting fees for unpaid permits, reconciling records annually, and conducting surveillance on billboards are also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, you will be negotiating and procuring real estate for public purposes, as well as managing real property for Engineering District 10-0. Gathering tax maps, deeds, and property owner information from county records is part of the job, along with verifying property ownership and boundaries in the field to aid in planning.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: - One year as a Real Estate Technician (commonwealth title); or
- Two years of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement: - This position requires possession of an active Class C driver’s license or equivalent that is not currently under suspension.
