Job Description:

Harford Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach daytime, face-to-face Sociology classes, during the spring 2024 semester.

During this course detailed consideration is given to culture, social control and deviation, social groups, social instruction, social stratification, ethnic minorities, demography, the community, social change and collective behavior.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.

Required Education:

Master's degree in psychology or closely-related subject.

Required Experience:

Prior teaching experience preferred.
