Your responsibilities as an Associate Recruiter include:
- Building a targeted candidate pipeline using job boards including Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Completing over the phone and video interviews with prospective candidates, managing complex conversations, including salary negotiations
- Cold calling prospective candidates for both active and proactive recruiting needs
- Maintaining a proven network of qualified individuals’ custom tailored to our individual client’s skillset and soft skill needs
- Maintaining a strong understanding of basic HR requirements and regulations as well as state, local and federal employment standards
- Continuous market research in the utility and power sector, including employment trends
- Achieving pre-set key performance indicators (KPI’s) around recruitment needs
- Attending required meetings and job specification calls, as needed
- Working closely with internal stakeholders including individual team members, payroll, legal and contractor HR
- Updating Hydrogen’s internal CRM with notes, qualified candidate resumes, and requirements for the Applicant Tracking System
- Some travel, as required for recruitment forums or client conferences (less than 10%)
Requirements
- Ability to work in an office setting Monday through Friday (hybrid will be considered after a probationary period to be determined based on experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Clear and concise communication, both over the phone and in writing
- Strong organization with the ability to work in a self-monitored environment
- Experience not required. We are open to speaking to anyone with 0-3 years experience.
