Oracle OBIEE Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining the OBIEE platform to support data analytics and reporting needs within the agency. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective utilization of data for decision-making processes related to environmental protection efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and Configuration: Administer the Oracle OBIEE environment, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Development and Customization: Design, develop, and customize OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analyses according to client's requirements and standards.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into OBIEE, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance the performance of OBIEE reports and queries.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security policies and access controls within OBIEE to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with EPA regulations.
- User Support and Training: Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to empower users to leverage OBIEE effectively.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and best practices, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure system sustainability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver insights using OBIEE.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years Proven experience in administering, developing, and supporting Oracle OBIEE, preferably in a government or regulatory agency context.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for U.S. Government client. No Exceptions!
- Ability to obtain and maintain Required U.S. Government Public Trust and/or Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency in Oracle database technologies, SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with OBIEE security configuration and role-based access controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Oracle OBIEE or related technologies are desirable.
