Job description
Job Title: 12-Week GCSE English Lecturer Cover
Location: Stamford, Lincs
Duration: Immediate start up until Easter 2024.
Position Type: Temporary, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour, plus holiday pay
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction in GCSE English and Functional Skills
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is essential.
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) is highly desired or willingness to work towards
- Familiarity with the GCSE/FS English curriculum.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Organizational skills to plan and manage lessons effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cover the role immediately.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week.
- 24 hours of contact time with students.
