Job Title: Tax Associate

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite/week) in Colorado 80112

Pay Range: $30-35/hr.

Jefferson Wells is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Associate for an immediate need with one of our clients in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities :  

• Analyze and enter property tax bills and assessments into PTMS.
• Call taxing jurisdictions about indirect tax questions – bills, assessment values, etc.
• Assist in the preparation, submission, and payment of sales tax returns.
• Assist in the payment of property tax bills.
• Sort incoming mail and distribute to proper team member.

Requirements :  

• 5+ years’ related experience, including familiarity with property tax bills and sales tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university.
• Highly detail oriented, determined, collaborative, and organized in work with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week.
