Accounts Payable Process Specialist Job Description The Accounts Payable Process Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring timely payments to suppliers and fostering strong supplier relationships. The role will work closely with the global service delivery team to monitor and resolve invoice payment issues. This role will work closely with Sourcing, IT, and vendor master for executing process improvements. This role will have exposure to and interactions with various global teams within the Company. This role will provide the opportunity to deep dive into the process and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen supplier relationships.
What youll do as an Accounts Payable Process Specialist: - Partner with internal stakeholders and business partners to resolve escalations and ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Execute process improvements projects to streamline invoice processing and reduce payment delays
- Collaborate with IT and sourcing teams to deliver on projects and services
- Support in data analytics projects to identify and executive cost-saving opportunities
- Manage relationships with external vendors in the Accounts Payable process in case of breakdowns
- Ensure process controls are in line with the set policies and procedures
- Conduct training and documentation of processes
What youll bring to the Accounts Payable Process Specialist role: - Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience working with global teams and matrix organizations
- Proficiency in SAP
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and learn quickly
