ABOUT THE ROLE
Sr. Finance Analyst position supporting the Avionics ( GBE ), within Electronic Solutions. This position will report directly to the Electronic Solutions VP- CFO and will have amatrix reporting relationship to the Avionics GBE CFO , supporting and working closely with the VP/GM of Avionics and CFOs/Directors of adjacent CBTs and Revenue Segments. This role will be integral to driving P&L Performance and supporting/owning key finance initiatives including SRO target attainment, new business pursuit pricing / business terms, P&L forecasting by Product Line, working capital management and inventory improvement, and accounting for various product types including manufactured products, repair services, software and licensing transactions. This role will provide a unique opportunity to develop formal decision-making skills, broaden the individual’s view of an end-to-end P&L, and make meaningful contributions to multiple areas of Honeywell’s Aerospace business – while working with passionate teammates committed to becoming their best and winning together.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will provide the planning / analysis / insights necessary to develop, deliver, and improve monthly and quarterly short-range forecasts, Annual Operating Plan, rolling 6-quarter forecasting, month-end close, actuals reporting and variance analyses, analysis of financial statements, working capital, and adherence to financial / internal controls. This role will also complete ad hoc financial analyses, interact with finance and business partners to identify opportunities and risks, and participate in the improvement of Avionics and broader Aerospace Finance processes to enable more efficient and robust financial responses.
MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
+ Minimum three years of directly related finance or accounting experience
WE VALUE
+ Advanced degree and / or CPA / CMA .
+ Excellent analytical ability, critical thinking / problem-solving skills, financial knowledge, and business acumen that allow understanding and evaluation of complex business transactions
+ Experience with ERP system(s), financial reporting tools (e.g. Essbase), and Tableau
+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
+ Intellectual curiosity, self-motivated, and positive attitude
+ Continuous improvement mindset
