Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and pick pack and ship processes. The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities: - Shipping and receiving:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the delivered goods within SAP
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, and labeling.
- Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inventory management:
- Organize and maintain the warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile them with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing for replenishment as needed.
- Label and warehouse map all items in inventory.
- Pick, Pack and ship:
- Utilize Microsoft and SAP tools to manage incoming small parts orders for our customer support team.
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to established procedures. Some crate building may be required.
- Verify order accuracy before shipping and complete necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Quality control:
- inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.\
- Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
- Document outgoing goods with photos and send to customers.
- Safety and compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Desired Skills
Requirements: - Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages when required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with SAP or other WMS (training provided)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to safely operate forklift within a warehouse.
Target compensation is $22 - $25 per hour plus a bonus based on company performance.
