Job description

Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join comprehensive team Monday-Friday 8-5 schedule, no call or weekends, outpatient only working in clinical setting. Work with a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, patient navigators, and a vibrant clinical research program with two research nurses This is an exceptional opportunity while practicing in an efficient, community practice setting. Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) preferred. Community/Facility info: Accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), Medical Center is a licensed 298-bed acute care facility. The hospital offers a full range of comprehensive care including the latest in diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Inpatient services include a state-of-the-art Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Cath Labs. Outpatient services include a comprehensive cancer program that offers with radiation therapy at Ikard Radiation Oncology and medical oncology/hematology at Cancer Center. Additional services are offered, a free-standing outpatient surgery center that offers day surgery, diagnostic imaging and lab services in a convenient customer service-oriented setting. More than 1,300 employees and volunteers work closely with the medical staff, which includes 300 credentialed providers representing a full range of medical specialties.
