Banyan Search is assisting a Triad corporation with their search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and work on a variety of duties. These will include analysis of general ledger accounts, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The organization has a family friendly culture and provides the opportunity for someone to grow professionally. This position is an in office role.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will include, but will not be limited to:

• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with month end close process
• Analyze monthly general ledger activity and prepare journal entries
• Assist with work in process analysis and calculations
• Prepare monthly commission reports
• Assist with preliminary and year end audit preparation

Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role will possess the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years’ experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple assignments
