Who We Are Looking For:
Our Senior Director of Stores - Southeast Territory is responsible for leading and managing a multifaceted, multi-concept, In-Line Retail Store business. Directing a team of Regional Directors, you will drive the vision and development of business strategies to meet organizational goals and metrics of customer satisfaction, profitability, and efficiency. You will serve as a key member of the senior NA Store Leadership team to deliver retail results through a dedication to business and people transformation/development and a deep understanding of the Nike Inc. strategic business priorities to achieve sales, operations and organizational goals.
What You Will Work On:
You will develop strategic and operational plans and enable teams to improve the Nike experience for our athletes and consumers across the southeast.
This leader will elevate performance and implement opportunities for growth in revenue, membership, wages, shrinkage, and operating income.
You'll ensure that the Nike Brand comes to life at Retail through the execution of key brand, product, marketing and seasonal initiatives.
You’ll also establish monthly and annual territory budgeting and forecasting data and processes that tie into the overall North America retail plan.
In addition, this role is accountable for the overall leadership and people management of the territory, including training and development, management of performance, and the succession and career planning of talent across the southeastern territory.
You will proactively anticipate internal and external talent needs working in partnership with other senior leaders, business functions, and human resources.
You’ll demonstrate deep omni-channel expertise to improve talent and operating agendas.
You’ll identify and apply controllable levers to accelerate the success of the team and influence the broader Nike retail organization.
Who will you partner and collaborate with?:
You will partner with various cross-functional teams including Store Operations, Human Resources, Merchandising, Planning, and Loss Prevention to build and implement strategy and initiatives enabling Nike Direct to achieve business objectives. You will use your strong mentorship, leadership, and influencing skills to drive solutions and actions through your teams and business partners.
What You Bring to Nike:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
15 or more years of retail management, preferably with a minimum of 10 years
of experience in multi-unit management
Experience leading in an Omni-Channel Retail environment
Ability to lead and influence others, including peers, to accomplish objectives
Demonstrated success motivating change and achieving business results through trust-based relationships and shared goals
Experience delivering inspiration, structure, and development across a team with varied strengths
Ability to provide insights and trends to advise and inform regional/global strategies
Ability to successfully navigate sophisticated business problems and lead large- scale initiatives with cross-functional and corporate business partners
Experience leading the development of a full business plan in an operations environment (strategy, measurement and budget) having cycled year-over-year results and growth from that strategy
Outstanding business insight and problem-solving skills driven through strategic critical thinking, transparency, and vision across contending priorities and timelines
A steadfast focus on the employee and consumer experience through the creation of environments that uplift the employee/consumer connection, store operations, design, online to offline services, etc.
Experience making adjustments to talent practices or initiatives yielding measurable and balanced increase in diversity representation and employees experience of inclusion
Experience leading a successful cultural, operational, and consumer service transformation end-to-end
Experience leading 8-10 diverse markets and 100 or more locations with a specialty retailer is also strongly preferred
