Our client, a fast growth Technology firm is seeking an interim Controller consultant. This position will be responsible for day to day corporate accounting, financial statements, internal controls, and ad hoc finance projects. This individual will also be involved in very complex and challenging projects, involving global integration and acquisition accounting. Dynamic, fast-paced environment with high level exposure! Looking for an ambitious, energetic leader who can execute at a high level while understanding business dynamics and strategic plan. Position is slated for 4-6 months contract with longer term potential!
Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close activities, including multi-currency consolidation, completion and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Prepare and assist with company budgeting, forecasting, and planning
- Manage fixed assets, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and cash accounting
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned
- Support continual process improvements and system enhancements
- Supervise accounting staff’s completion of month-end and year-end responsibilities
- Support implementation of financial systems, including upgrades and training
- Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leadership
- Support all ad hoc projects such as acquisition integration, M&A accounting
Qualifications:
- B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of experience in progressive responsibility in mid-sized organizations
- Prefer CPA certification and Big4 public accounting experience
- Fortune 500 experience or fast growth Private Equity / VC owned company background preferred
- Experience in multi-entity international business
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
