Job description
This Project Estimator Position Features:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for sealant, air barrier, and waterproofing projects based on project specifications, drawings, and other relevant information.
Bid Analysis: Review and analyze bid documents, plans, and specifications to identify project requirements and potential risks.
Material and Labor Costs: Determine material and labor costs by gathering and assessing vendor and subcontractor quotes, historical data, and industry benchmarks.
Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop project execution plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
Client Communication: Engage with clients to discuss project requirements, clarify scope, and address questions or concerns related to the estimate.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure our estimates remain competitive and profitable.
Bid Submissions: Prepare and submit timely and accurate bids and proposals to potential clients.
Post-Bid Activities: Participate in post-bid meetings and negotiations, providing insight and support to secure contracts.
