Job description

Seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesia in Fredericksburg, VA, to be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. The cases will include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatric Surgery, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Podiatry, Urology, and Back Surgery. Note that craniotomy or open heart cases are not included in the caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients across various surgical specialties.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and formulate anesthesia care plans.
• Adhere to established protocols, standards, and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care.

Qualifications:

· Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

· ACLS and PALS Certifications.

· Full-Time Availability.

· Active Virginia Medical License.

· DEA Certification.
