Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
MONDAY-FRIDAY - 5:00AM - 1:00PM - overtime on an as needed basis.

What’s a typical day as a Slitter Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Operating and maintaining slitting machines to cut metal coils into specific widths and lengths
• Performing calibration and quality assurance checks to ensure accurate cutting
• Packaging finished products according to specified codes
• Handling skids and calculating/tracking scrap
• Utilizing various equipment such as transfer carts, carousel controls, and conveyor controls
• Using tools such as scales, saws, and hand tools to assist in the slitting process
• Following facility and area metrics, reading schedules, and conducting pre-shift inspections
• Adhering to 5S principles and participating in Kanban training
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience operating slitting machines or similar equipment. Willing to train the right candidate.
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to perform quality control checks
• Are comfortable using various tools and equipment
• Have a basic understanding of facility metrics and reading schedules
• Are committed to maintaining a safe work environment
• Are open to learning and following 5S principles
