Job description

We are looking for a dental assistant(DA) for basic work/help in a dental office. Part or Full Time.

The position will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition starting with patients walking into the door, helping with registration, performing dental assisting, and checking patients out.

This is a great position as the Dentist/Owner is willing to invest personal time in training. The owner has helped write letters of recommendation to people who wish to move on to dental school or any other medical field. Professional demeanor in person and over the phone is a MUST.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• No previous experience is accepted but will be required to perform DA duties.
• Bilingual speaker, either Chinese (preferred) or Spanish
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable with managing duties from front desk to clinical side.
• Ability to discuss financials and insurance with patients comfortably and learn/use practice software.
• Comfortable with performing patient history, and taking xrays. If you aren't licensed yet please let me know as we are willing to work something out.
