Job Description:
As a Service Business Development Representative at Wilkinson Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, you will play a crucial role in driving service department growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for proactively engaging with current and potential customers to promote our automotive services, generate leads, and increase service appointments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Initiate outbound calls to existing and potential customers to educate them about our automotive services, promotions, and special offers.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through proactive outreach and follow-up with prospects to convert them into service appointments.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing personalized service and addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments based on customer preferences, availability, and service requirements.
- CRM Management: Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer interactions, update contact information, and document service requests accurately.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to cross-sell and upsell automotive services, parts, and accessories to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback regarding their service experiences and communicate insights to the management team to drive continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for service innovation and differentiation.
* Customer Description Communication:
The ability to record customers' descriptions of issues and concerns into detailed appointments, allowing technicians to accurately diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, sales, or business development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
