BAE Systems is classified as a major DoD contractor, subject to many Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) clauses and all Cost Accounting Standard (CAS). We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Government Compliance Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate will understand the importance of these regulations, support the various audits and reviews by DCAA and DCMA and how they affect the various areas of the corporation.
This is an individual contributor role however as some audits are supported by multifunctional teams, this role will sometimes lead that team and coordinate the responses.
Additional responsibilities include: - Serve as a subject matter expert on FAR and DFARS regulations and ensure the company's compliance with these requirements;
- Preparation of forward pricing and incurred cost rate submissions with related audit and negotiations;
- Preparation of disclosure statements and cost impact analysis;
- Conduct periodic reviews to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations;
- Support DCAA Cost Accounting Standard audits, various DCMA reviews and DCAA audits and DFARS business system audits;
- Preparation and delivery of internal compliance training;
- Comply with all government, corporate and business unit policies, procedures and regulations;
- Monitor government regulation changes and industry guidance; assist in change implementation.
This position allows for a hybrid remote work schedule, which is a flexible schedule based on a mix of workdays in-office and remote.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and 10 years of relevant experience;
- Extensive knowledge of Government contract requirements/regulations, including the FAR, DFARS and CAS standards;
- Must be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at varying seniority levels in all organizations throughout the company;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex regulations and costing compliance both externally (to DCMA and DCAA) and internally to the business is critical.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $120560 - $204930

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
