We are currently seeking a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources - Greenwood Hospitality Portfolio to join our team.
Position Summary:
As the Vice President of Human Resources - Greenwood Hospitality Portfolio, you will provide executive-level leadership and guidance to our HR operations across the Greenwood Hospitality Portfolio. This role involves setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as identifying and implementing strategic talent management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term mission and goals, supporting them through talent management initiatives.
Provide guidance and consulting services to all levels of management and employees on HR policies and procedures.
Develop and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, safety, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements to management.
Advise management on compensation actions and adjustments to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
Serve as a key escalation point for employee relations issues and participate in grievance resolution.
Support new hotel openings and transitions through due diligence and integration processes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience with human resource information systems, such as ADP Workforce and Paycom, is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Minimum of ten years of HR management experience, with hospitality experience highly preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
