Job description
Job Summary : As the Sr. Project Manager / Assistant Area Manager of Mining and Development, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Mining and Development operations in the Intermountain Region. Your responsibilities include providing leadership, strategic guidance, and ensuring the achievement of both short-term and long-term goals. Collaborating closely with the Area Manager, your aim is to contribute to the growth of our Mining and Development Area, with the expectation of assuming the Area Manager role within a six month time frame.
Projects: Utilities - Underground - Asphalt Paving - Concrete - Mining - Earthwork / Earthmoving - Site Work - Development

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Envision, implement, and uphold the company's vision and core values.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the area, aligning with company goals under the guidance of the Area Manager.
- Establish and uphold area objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company policy boundaries.
- Foster relationships with current and prospective clients to facilitate construction activities.
- Mentor and develop area employees, ensuring comprehensive training, growth opportunities, and access to leadership development.
- Represent the company in project and strategy meetings.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to safeguard the company's interests and maintain positive client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Education and/or Experience :
- Hold a 4-year degree in mining, engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
- Possess extensive experience (5 or more years) and knowledge in mining, earthwork construction, design, finance, and management.
- Demonstrate experience in leading multi-million-dollar contracts, overseeing operations, project administration, and client relations for large construction projects.
