Interior Design Project Manager
This company has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the business channel, with appropriate product knowledge, understanding of business processes, organizational concepts, and a solid ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must possess above average organizational skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as with manufacturers and furniture reps.
Essential Functions / Job Duties:
- Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Provide test fit, interiors design and acquisition assistance to ownership
- Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports
- Develops, executes, manages and enhances Furniture related programs and services
- Both internal and external projects for Furniture and design
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required
- Three or more years of interiors experience
- CAD experience a plus
- Experience/connection with contract furniture manufacturers a definite plus
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Self-Starter, solution-oriented, resourceful, diligent with a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative work environment
- Capacity to work independently as well as working as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with ability to deliver work product on a short notice
- Strong business knowledge and financial acumen
- Ability to build strong professional relationships
