Kelly® Technology/Kelly OCG is seeking an L3 Validation Technician for a full-time position with a top semiconductor company in Chandler, Arizona. Level 3 Validation Technician

Chandler, Arizona

M-F 8am – 5pm

Pay: $25/hr | Benefits + PTO

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

+ The engineering technician is responsible for all lab support and maintenance associated with management of their lab.

+ System (Host and Target) upkeep and troubleshooting (hardware swap, peripheral modifications, host connectivity issues, etc.).

+ Board recovery if possible.

+ Single and multi-system build, configuration, and deployments for both existing and new platforms.

+ Hardware infrastructure installations (patch panels, servers, power configuration, full rack installations, etc.).

+ Investigating network errors.

+ HDD / SSD imaging.

+ Experience as a technician or other relevant technical role.

+ Disassembly and reassembly of PCs. Replacement of general ( HDD ) to unique support components (specialty device heat sinks).

+ Execute simple test steps from verbal and written instructions to verify PC fundamental functionality.

+ Own first level debug steps to repair malfunctioning server platforms. Work with Engineering to troubleshoot to root cause.

+ Enter testing job results history into tracking documents.

+ IT administration – Updating PC’s for required patches, new application revisions, adding user permissions.

+ Ability to create and deploy HDD images to broad range of PC models.

+ Maintains Client provided Inventory management.

+ Provide clean and tidy workmanship.

+ Troubleshooting skills.

+ Execute complex test steps from verbal and written instruction.

+ Recommend and assist with higher level debug to repair malfunctioning printed circuit boards.

Preferred/Recommended Skills:

+ Networking experience.

+ Hypervisor/Virtualization – HyperV or VMware experience.

+ GIT Experience.

+ Scripting Experience.

+ Read schematics and board files to interpret component placement for remove/replace actions.

+ Modify PCBs to engineering specifications. Able to interpret board files to tap into specific signals, custom build solutions for interfaces.
