Summary
We are seeking a talented Helpdesk, II under general direction, provides tier I and II technical support, training and direction to Meteorcomm end users with issues and service requests for their computer equipment and applications. The specialist installs tests and resolves problems with computer hardware and software. Acts as first point of contact for Meteorcomm user’s computer, phone and network related issues.

Major Duties:

• Provides technical support by phone, email, or in person for hardware or software related issues
• Creates user accounts, manages permissions and provisions/configures hardware for new users.
• Deploys and captures disk images for PC preparation or backup purposes.
• Configures and tests users’ computers ensuring systems are functioning properly before being deployed.
• Physical set up of computers, phones, printers and network connections for each employee.
• Track hardware inventory and ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
• Identifying and solving problems that affect computer operating systems and install applications.
• Install and manage anti-virus applications on workstations.
• Identify tasks and processes that can be improved to ensure IT and our end users are as efficient as possible.
• May include troubleshooting routine problems and maintenance of Servers, Network equipment and printers.
• May include troubleshooting issues with engineering applications and working with vendor support teams.
• May include troubleshooting issues with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Triages IT helpdesk tickets and plays a significant role to maintain Helpdesk SLA commitments.
• Works with Systems Administrators in the daily operation of the computing environment.

Essential:

• 2+ years of IT support experience
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, MS O365, and MS Office Suite
• Understanding of basic networking concepts like TCP, UDP, DHCP, etc. Must have a good attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Strong desire and aptitude to expand areas of knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Recent support experience for Windows 10/11, Active Directory, MS Office, Exchange, various imaging software,

Desirable:

• Microsoft certified professional
• Two-year degree in computer sciences
• Experience with mobile device management / enterprise mobility management
• Experience with VOIP phone systems
• Experience with Dell PC’s and warranty support processes

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $61,861 to $95,884 per year based on experience.  Employees new to this role can expect to start between $61,861 to $73,202.  In addition, there is a potential yearly bonus at 7% of base salary.

Hybrid role- This position is located in Renton, WA - must be able to work onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday per week.
