Job description
**About Us:**
We are actively seeking a talented Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team providing configuration and capability support services for the Program at the Pentagon in Washington DC. This is a hybrid position within the National Capital Region.
**Responsibilities:**
In this role you will serve as the senior Oracle Hyperion functional analyst/business systems analyst contributing to the development operational and sustainment support of the PBES system. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues for the PBES stakeholder community designing application system updates based on new functional requirements investigating and implementing system updates for outages data refreshes security patches software and hardware updates and business process enhancements. Additionally you will perform functional testing and contribute to document development.
The successful candidate will plan conduct and/or contribute to research and design activities applying technical and analytical approaches to solve client issues. Your experience will support technical tasks such as system administration architecture configuration design and administration ERP application implementation organizational change management communication development of training documentation and customization.
**Key Tasks:**
Provide Tier 2 & 3 service desk support
Act as a business systems analyst evaluating current and tobe business processes for implementation within the system architecture and design
Design application software based on new requirements
Utilize indepth knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle for the design and development of the PBES application
Assist in application refactoring for migration to AWS
Support the integration of Oracle business systems with Hyperion business intelligence capabilities
Assist in functional testing
**Required Skills/Experience:**
Minimum of 7 years of business analyst experience focused on Oracle Hyperion systems including Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Budget and Planning
Government budget/financial systems experience
**Desired Skills:**
Various Oracle Business System certifications are preferred but not required
OSD or AF PPBE experience
Agile process experience
Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline
Experience with Oracle Technologies including Data Relationship Management (DRM) Suite and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
A security certification or equivalent
**Education Level:** BS/BS or equivalent
