The Senior Manager, Medicare Sales leads an internal sales team while also responsible for support and growth of External Partner Production. The Senior Sales Manager requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

The Senior Manager, Medicare Sales will supervise Medicare Sales Field Agents who sell the portfolio of products offered to the Medicare population. In this role you be responsible for leading a team of 9-11 career sales agents and more generally a large contingent of independent/contracted agents to achieve sales/membership growth targets for your team’s aligned territory. Additional responsibilities will include: providing ongoing training to ensure product, compliance, sales processes and branding opportunities; monitoring sales results and trends; developing and tracking administrative and marketing budgets for the team; engaging with value-based providers and working with provider engagement and contracting teams to promote provider engagement with Humana; and ensuring compliance and marketing guidelines associated with Medicare regulations are adhered to.

Required Qualifications

+ Active Health & Life Insurance licenses

+ 2+ years of Medicare sales experience

+ Community Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans in the community

+ Prior experience using CRM tools, Sales/Marketing Resources, Microsoft Office with proficiency in TEAMS , Excel, and PowerPoint

+ This role is part of Humana’s Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

+ Must reside in either the Mesa or Tuscon, AZ areas or be willing to relocate to the area

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree desirable

+ Prior experience in public speaking and conducting presentations???

+ Prior experience in the health solutions industry

+ Sales leadership experience: leading a team of sales associates in successful sales techniques

+ Prior experience with medical, life insurance and dental product positioning
