Job description
Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Controller to join their team! This is an urgent need for a full time onsite role in Montgomery County, OH.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations and production for costing and inventory reduction.
- Prepare, analyze, and correct queries, reports, and complex spreadsheets.
- Utilize ERP for accounting and operational transactions.
- Track financial progress, provide management with recommendations for decisions.
- Maintain weekly sales and shipping reports and analyze Production Efficiency.
- Manage CapEx entries, reconcile expenditures.
- Prepare Monthly Stock Status and other Inventory reports, audit physical inventories.
- Reconcile company balances and transactions, review month-end reports.
- Prepare month-end journal entries, compile and review weekly margin report.
- Assist in producing accurate monthly financial statements, provide sales analysis.
- Lead annual audit activities.
Qualifications
- BS in accounting
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a controller or assistant controller role
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience
