Job description
First Baptist Church in Elkton, MD is seeking a Lead Pastor to replace our Senior Pastor, who is retiring. Elkton is located in the northeastern part of Maryland. We are approximately 2 miles from the state of Delaware and 10 miles from the University of Delaware. We are seeking a man who has a heart for God, love for His people, and a passion for ministry. We are seeking a pastor who will preach the inerrant Work of God without compromise, care for the body of Christ, provide leadership in other areas of the church, equip the church to serve in the Kingdom of God. The pastor of First Baptist Church must be a man called by God and who meets the qualifications outlined in 1Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:7-9; 1 Peter 5:1-5.
