We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to support our team in Chantilly, VA.

Position Overview:

The role of an AWS DevOps Engineer involves working with a team who are responsible for automating design, coding, and deployment of infrastructure within an AWS Environment. Developing CI/CD pipelines, instrumenting code to report relevant metrics, and building safe and efficient build processes are all a part of the role of an AWS DevOps Engineer.

Position Responsibilites:

Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.
Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
Ensure AWS (Test,RC and production) systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.
Resolving problems across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
Work with the ISSM and developers in the provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
Automating different operational processes by designing, maintaining, and managing tools.
Provide primary operational support and engineering for all Cloud and Enterprise deployments.
Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for IAC and CI/CD that teams can follow.
Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

Position Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience in AWS
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
Working knowledge provisioning, automated deployments, and managing AWS environments.
Certified on at least one: AWS DevOps Engineering, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate.
Proficient with AWS services: Compute and Network, and Storage, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management.
Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, workspaces, and networking Familiarity interacting with AWS APIs.
Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (Ansible, PowerShell, Jenkins, Java, Cloud Formation).
Self-starter excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

TS/SCI
