Job description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the efficiency and maintenance of the APV system to ensure that a quality product is produced. In addition, this employee will be required to fill bulk containers (totes/55-gallon drums) with food product. EMPLOYEES MUST BE AVAILABLE AND WILLING TO WORK OVERTIM.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the quality and food safety of products
- Operation of APV system following proper procedures for start-up, changeovers, and shutdown.
- Clean piping and heat exchangers
- Monitor water level in both clean and dirty water tanks
- Fill water tanks
- Keep track of stock filter paper, cleaning chemicals, and misc supplies
- Ensure APV system is operating efficiently
- Conduct filter changes
- Assists with bulk honey dumping and barrel washing
- Maintain sanitation and paper changing lists
- Completes required documents
Shift Times:
1st Shift - 7 am - 3:30 pm
3rd Shift - 9:30 am - 7am
