MNTN is looking for an Account Director who is responsible for achieving revenue targets by increasing customers' share of wallet and annual recurring revenue as a part of our customer success organization, working with MNTN’s largest customers. This includes the development of long-term relationships with customers as well as crafting strategic account plans. The Account Director will achieve this through solution selling capabilities, providing insight into customer report cards and direct, face-to-face contact with the customer.

Responsibilities include building relationships at all levels with a focus on c-suite, and effectively navigating the customer's organization. You will guide and assist customers in achieving a successful start with MNTN and help them expand the value realized from our self-serve platform and internal team members. The Account Director role will collaborate closely with a Partner Manager to address all customer-facing requirements and serve as the main point of escalation for customer issues.  This is a key role at one of the pioneers of Performance TV technology companies in the entire US. Successful candidates will be high energy, data-minded, naturally inquisitive, and have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape with prior senior level sales experience.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Customer Relationship:
    1. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key executives, understanding their business objectives and ensuring our solutions align with their needs.
    2. Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (CMO, CEO, COO, etc.).
    3. Serve as an escalated point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing strategic guidance, and proactively driving opportunities for account growth.
    4. Serve as external product consultant educating customers and agencies on product solutions and best practices.
  2. Account Planning:
    1. Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize customer satisfaction.
    2. Conduct regular business reviews and take a consultative, long-term approach to build productive relationships with customers, in collaboration with the sales team.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and technical teams, to ensure seamless execution of account plans.
    4. Formulate and analyze customer data using a report card system to articulate customers ranking against similar successful advertisers. 
  3. Revenue:
    1. Pitch revenue opportunities within existing accounts driving growth and expansion of share of wallet. 
    2. Work closely with the sales team to drive success of new customers.
    3. Analyze account performance data to offer customers data-driven business insights and at the same time, use those insights to improve our account and advertising offerings
    4. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with both customer goals and organizational objectives.
  4. Industry Expert/ Thought Leader:
    1. Articulate the MNTN story, unique value proposition and how MNTN’s solutions align with customer’s vision and solve customer’s business issues (e.g. return on investment of performance).
    2. Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, grasp of the macro-economic adtech environment; and be a trusted advisor
    3. Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and thought leadership to both internal customer supporting teams and customers.
